American Rock Bar

This is definitely one of the coolest bars we've been to so far. It has a very rock n roll atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have amazing drink specials not to mention something crazy cool going on every night of the week. Monday night is Bike night. No this is not for you Harley Davidson riders, but for you crotch rocket riders. They do bike tricks in the parking lot to show off their stuff. Tuesday night is Wii night for those of you who like to play. Wednesday nights is Karaoke so bring your singing voices. Thursdays is for you poker players. Its poker night! Friday nights are probably the coolest; the local band Free Radicals play live entertainment. You gotta love live music while you get your drink on. And it gets better! Ladies drink free from 9 till midnight. They definitely know how to get us ladies in there. If you like Friday night then you’ll like Saturdays too, it’s live rock music night. They are also starting $40 all you can drink on Saturdays. To cater to a different crowd they also have country night on Sundays. It’s held in the back room so it doesn’t interfere with the rock music that’s playing in the main bar. So you country folks can do your own thing. American rock bar has 50% off full liquor bar ALL THE TIME, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They have $2.50 bottle beer and $3.50 Imports. They also have amazing shot deals such as; $5.00 Patron shots, $4.00 Jager shots, and $4.50 Jager bombs. They also serve amazing food. Lion and Eagle English Pub

This English pub is definitely a unique gem hidden in Boca Raton. The atmosphere gives the impression of being in an actual European bar. It doesn't have the greatest drink specials we have come across but it is definitely worth checking out. Their specials change all the time,however, the current ones being featured are: $3.50 SoCo Lime shots, $3 Milagro tequila shots, $4.50 Jack, and $4 44 North vodka. Their happy hour is everyday from 12-7 with 2 for 1 house wine, bottled beer, and well drinks. On Tuesday nights they serve all shots for $2. This place is defintitely different from any place we visited. It is a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere that is described as never having any bar fights or issues. It is a very peaceful place to relax and have some cocktails. All the bartenders have english accents so you forget where you are for the time being. With their weekly changing drink specials it is worth a shot...literally!

Murphys

Okay so for those of you who are from around Boca Raton we all know the one spot that has the reputation of being the last resort place in town to go....and this place is Murphy's. So why did I choose to inform you all about a place that we have all grown to despise? Because maybe it is time to give Murphy's a second chance. There are a lot of things that take place there that I was even unaware of. Well we all know that Tuesday night is college night which consists of free draft beer from 9-11 and after 11 there are $2 domestic pints and $3 well drinks. DJ Xplicit also provides awesome entertainment for college night as well. Looking for a good Thursday night hotspot? Well try upscale Thurdays at Murphys where ladies drink free until midnight. After that the gentlemen can join in for 2 for 1 drinks on everything for everyone. For those of you beer pong competitors you will be going to the right place on Thursdays. All it takes is a $5 entry fee per person to compete for $150 cash prize while getting tipsy. On Saturday night you can catch some of the craziest rock bands battling it out with each other while you are consuming all you can drink Heinekin draft beer for $15. Absolute Asylum is just one of the bands you will see performing on this night. To end the weekend right Murphy's host a poker tournament on Sunday nights with a $10 domestic bucket drink special.
Aside from all of these incredible specials there is also the daily happy hour from 11-7 which consists of $2 well drinks and domestic bottled beer and $1 off for "in the biz" all the time. So to sum up why we shouldn't completely write off Murphy's: they have some of the cheapest drink specials around and for those of you who have friends who are a few years shy of the legal drinking age, it is also the only bar in Boca that is 18+ to get in. A second chance never hurt anyone!
